Tours To Remember LLC was founded in 1997 by tour operator / event planner / wine consultant, Jacques Hachana. Jacques had owned and managed a popular French bistro and wine bar in the Washington DC area – Jacques’ Café - for 15 years. Previously he had been involved in the wine business as an importer, wholesaler representative, wine consultant to restaurants, specialty stores and private events.

Deciding to merge his interests in history, working with the public, wines and foods, Jacques established his own receptive services / event planning and tour operator company with the objective of coordinating entertaining and educational events, giving sightseeing tours in the Washington DC metropolitan area and offering wine tasting parties and tours of local wineries.

Over the past several years, Tours To Remember has provided event planning / receptive services and guided tours to hundreds of groups and individuals from the U.S., Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Brazil and Tunisia. The feedback received from the tour group participants has been very positive and Tours To Remember has provided repeat service to many groups.
